Wrap-up of Rockset at AWS re: Invent 2021

Rockset just returned from AWS re: Invent in Las Vegas, and our team reports that interest in Rockset and real-time analytics was high. Rockset had a booth on the show floor and also held private meetings with current and potential customers.

Rockset's booth was busy!

Shruti Bhat, Rockset’s CTO & SVP of Marketing, described the show as amazing, and said it felt great to be back at the show in person after missing the in-person experience in 2020 due to the pandemic.

“There are so many interesting things to see this year. It really feels like in the last two years the world has made this massive shift from batch to real-time. As we’re talking to customers, we’re learning of many real-time use cases for Rockset.”

“Just two examples we heard at the show are logistics and fraud detection. We spoke to a customer who told us they could prevent a lot of car thefts if they had the kind of real-time insights that Rockset provides.”

“From our perspective we can’t wait to help these customers serve their users better.”

In 2019, over 60,000 attendees traveled to Las Vegas for the conference. The show went entirely virtual in 2020, and this year the show was available both in-person and virtually. The in-person attendance didn’t match the level of 2019, but those who attended still felt a lot of energy for the exhibitors and the topics covered at the show.
